I decided to re-measure myself today. You know, since I've been eating better/exercising for like five minutes and all. I've lost an inch in my waist, but I'm exactly the same everywhere else. I think measuring 5 days in is along the lines of burning all my size _____ clothes and going on a shopping spree for a bunch of size 2's--overly optimistic, maybe? :)
Day Five:
Breakfast: Grape Nuts with sugar. Fat-free chocolate milk.
Snack: Trail mix.
Lunch: Yogurt with fruit preserves mixed in. Butternut squash soup.
Dinner: 2 Tacos, mashed sweet potatoes.
Dessert: Peanut Butter Pie. I'm sure this will come back to bite me in the tush, but it was soooo good...
No exercise. I am beyond exhausted. Tomorrow!

I still think you did very well!! You don't want to completely eliminate all that is good- it will just make you want it more!!

Friday:
PB and honey toast double fiber bread, choc milk- nonfat
6 inch veggie on wheat (plus cheese :)!) and a diet coke- and BBQ chips (lays baked)
Jeff and I went out on a date and ended up at the Bistro- I ate some very butter noodley thing- not good! And a diet coke, two pieces of bread and half of Jeff's salad
No excercise! :(

two tamales with avocado and pico de gallo, water raw veggies and light dip
chicken pot pie (homemade) and diet soda.
You will not believe it.....I EXCERCISED!!! We went for a family bike ride 1/2 an hour!!

OK- sorry- the boys really wanted a doughnut before church- so I did and paid dearly during childcare with a sugar coma- I do not think I love foot doughnughts any more...
lunch- raw veggies and light dip and a small bit of chicken pot pie diet coke
dinner- turkey and cheese with mustard and spinach on a orowheat round( do you love these too?! So much fiber!! 100 cal!) and diet soda - teeny bit of frozen yogurt at yogalicious with very little choc chips (Jeff measured for me)
but I am hungry now at 9:13...
AAAANNNNDDDD we went on another bike ride!! 1/2 and hour- I'm getting there!
Weigh in on Tues. I am not measuring until the end- they have my measurements from when we started. four more weeks to go!
