And the Chocolate Detox Begins

DAY ONE:

Detox is right. I felt like crud by the time dinner rolled around.

Breakfast: Grape Nuts & milk (and a sprinkle of sugar. Baby steps). Handful of raisins.
Snack: 5 Peanut butter-filled pretzels.
Lunch: Turkey and spinach on wheat bread with spicy spread (this spread is semi-questionable as a food choice for this meal but so YUM!). Baby carrots.
Snack: Dried apricots, trail mix.
Dinner: Chicken & rice, carrots, small glass of fat-free chocolate milk.

Exercise:
I did Jillian Michaels' "30-Day Shred." I don't think she and I will ever be friends. I spent the entire 20-minutes of the workout glaring at her onscreen.

So in a nutshell: Ummm...what was I thinking? My body is ticked at me for exercising and not giving it enough chocolate. You'd think it would be happy--but it just seems peeved!

  1. Ok- so will you allow me to write mine too? I'll do today, and if you don't want me to do it on here- let me know!!

PB and honey toast on Double Fiber bread, 8 oz fat free chocolate milk.
    16oz flavored water
BBQ Chicken sandwich Med. diet soda and choc chip cookie from Carl's Jr.- I had a rough day.....I felt I deserved the cookie!
tall non-fat hot cocoa no whip
two handfuls of veggie straws, three slices deli ham, 1 1/2 cups of special K with chocolate chunks
I think I have an issue with chocolate too!

Good for you- I am impressed that you are still with Jillian!! Really, I am proud of you!!! My exercise today consists of blowing up a kiddie pool with a foot pump. I alternated feet, though, and squinched my behind while pumping...Yea me!!!
